RSC Chairman Walker on Chairman Hensarling Retirement

Washington - Republican Study Committee Chairman Mark Walker released the following statement after news broke that Chairman Hensarling will retire at the end of his current term:

Much of the RSC's modern legacy can be attributed to Chairman Hensarling's grit and wisdom while he served as RSC Chairman from 2007-2009. Without fail, he has always been able to crystalize the conservative direction forward when Congress is presented with challenges. It is not often that we get champions in Congress for limited government and fiscal discipline like Jeb. He will be missed.
